چکیده
This work aimed to evaluate the digestibility of defatted Hermetia illucens larvae meal (HM), and its effects as fishmeal (FM) replacement on growth performance, feed nutrient utilisation, whole-body composition gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) juveniles. To assess apparent coefficients (ADC) HM, a reference-diet (43% crude protein (CP); 17% lipid (CL)) test-diet, in which 30% reference diet was replaced with were formulated. effect dietary FM replacement, four isonitrogenous CP) isolipid (18% CL) diets formulated include HM at 0 (HM0), 15 (HM15), 30 (HM30), 45% (HM45), replacing 0, 22, 60, 100%, respectively. Triplicate groups fish (initial body weight 32 g) randomly assigned experimental trial lasted for 67 days. The trials conducted system, each tested triplicate. Protein, lipid, energy high (>74%). Replacement by did not compromise ADC while dry matter increased. Complete had no negative efficiency, composition, utilisation juveniles, establishing potential an alternative ingredient aquafeeds.

In this paper, 981 reared juveniles of gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) were analysed, 721 of which were from a commercial hatchery located in Northern Italy (Venice, Italy) and 260 from the Hellenic Center for Marine Research (Crete, Greece). These individuals were from 4 different egg batches, for a total of 10 different lots. Each egg batch was split into two lots after hatching, and reared...
متن کاملNannochloropsis oceania-derived defatted meal as an alternative to fishmeal in Atlantic salmon feeds
Defatted microalgal biomass derived from biorefinery can be potential feed ingredients for carnivorous fish. The present study investigated the growth, feed intake:gain and health parameters in Atlantic salmon fed for 84 days with defatted Nannochloropsis oceania as a fishmeal replacer. Fish fed feeds containing the algal biomass (at 10 and 20% inclusion, alga groups) were compared with groups ...
